Travel-Type.002 – Switzerland

Some incredible designs spotted while traveling in Switzerland a few years back. The sense and restraint use of typography, grid, iconography, and overall craftsmanship is incredible to see on such a large scale. There was a moment my wife punched me to snap me out of a daze admiring a post office sign’s grid and typography hierarchy. The use of Helvetica everywhere warms my heart and don’t even get me started on the type and icons on trains and stations. When you need a break from alpine views and cheese, cleanse your eyes for a second on some signage.
